Our Work

A world where the youth and marginalized communities have equitable access to educational, financial, development and enterpreneur opportunities.

1. Community Development

This pillar involves facilitating the initiation of community based projects that are affordable and sustainable with the aim of improving the welfare of the various community groups. Under this pillar, communities identify their most pressing needs, then brainstorm on possible solutions. We then identify and work with like- minded development partners to contribute expertise and finances in the realization of the solutions. Some of the initiatives undertaken under this pillar include:

A Wash project at Ngamwa Primary school in Mukurweini sub county-Rugi Ward

  • This project is being implemented in partnership with Rotary International and includes the following activities:
  • Sinking of a borehole in the school to cater for clean water needs for the school fraternity (of 700) and the surrounding community.
  • Building of an ablution block to cater for sanitary needs of the boys and the girls
  • Constructing a water kiosk so that community members can access clean water at affordable costs
  • Training the students, teachers, the school board and some of the community members on WASH
  • Establishing a WASH club in the school

This pillar will target communities and young people for capacity building in areas of leadership, human rights, devolution and governance.
